  Status: Resident.

Distribution and Abundance: Rather local.

Primary Habitat: Woodland.

Flight Period: Single brooded in June and July.

Localities: Cold Oak Copse, Brampton Wood, Collyweston Great Wood and Southey Wood.

Observations: Very common at light in Hazelborough Wood in July 1991.

L.O.N.: 1907. Barnwell Wold, Geddington Chase, Sywell, Castle Ashby. Local but often very common.

First Record: 1858, Green.
