Resident. Distribution and Abundance: Rather local. Primary Habitat: Woodland. Flight Period: Single brooded in May and June. Localities: Cold Oak Copse, Stoke Wood, Easton Hornstocks and Castor Hanglands. Observations: Often records are of the moth being flushed by day. L.O.N.: 1902. Barnwell Wold, Kettering, Weedon. Not common. First Record: 1882, Hull & Tomalin. |
