  Status:  Resident.

Distribution and Abundance:  Fairly common.

Primary Habitat:  General occurrence.

Flight Period:  Probably double brooded but variable in times of appearance with moths mainly being seen in May and July.

Observations:  Common at light on 23 July 1988 at Collyweston Quarry. Generally the moth seems to be more numerous than usual in this locality.

L.O.N.:  1907. Kettering, Geddington Chase, Weedon. Not uncommon.
