Distribution and Abundance: Fairly common.

Primary Habitat: Woodland.

Flight Period: Single brooded in June and July.

Observations: Formerly almost entirely restricted to the limestone areas in the north east of the county and even then uncommon; the moth has spread considerably since the 1950’s.
