  Status: Vagrant/Accidental and Temporary Resident.

Distribution and Abundance: Scarce.

Primary Habitat: Woodland.

Flight Period: Single brooded in July and August.

Records: Three were recorded on 15 August 1987 at Yardley Chase (B. Statham) and a singleton in July 1992 in Wellingborough (D. Larkin).

Observations: Established and recorded annually in the 1930’s and the 1940’s in the Kettering area.
