  Status:  Resident.

Distribution and Abundance:  Fairly common.

Primary Habitat:  Woodland.

Flight Period:  Single brooded in March, April and May.

Observations:  In my experience the moth is more numerous in the county’s southern woodlands.

L.O.N.:  1907. Near Great Oakley, King’s Cliffe, Daventry. Not common.
