Distribution and Abundance: Common.

Primary Habitat: Woodland.

Flight Period: Single brooded in June and July.

Observations: Variation in the moth can occasionally cause it to be quite similar in appearance to The Plain Golden Y (A. jota).

L.O.N.: 1906. Several localities. Not uncommon.
