Lower School Fund Raising
A massive £686 was raised for the Sir Malcolm Sargeant Fund for leukaemia and other childrens’ diseases, during a Readathon in October. The lower school raised over £70 towards the Blue Peter ‘Breathe Easy’ Appeal, through donations and the sale of cakes by lower site librarians! A further £70 was raised from a book fair at the end of November.

School Shop in Crisis! The shop at Whinney Hill is in dire need of rescue! We open from 12 - 1pm on Mondays and Thursdays to sell stationery and the other little necessities of school life. Members of the PTA commitee, who have been running it, are finding it very difficult to bear the burden alone. Any adult or Sixth Formers reading this, who could space an hour or so, please get in touch with Mrs Roberts.
