KILSBY There are two pubs in the village of Kilsby - The Red Lion and The George, both serving good food. There is also an excellent restaurant called The Hunt House. Also in the Parish is a pub named The Halfway House, due to it being halfway between Northampton and Coventry. There are Beaver, Cubs and Scout Groups in the village. The school is very active regularly going on day class trips. The top years, years 5 and 6, have a one week trip to somewhere close to the village, and the year 6s spend a week in a more far off location. This year it was Weymouth. Recently years 5 and 6 have been visited by the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra to compose a piece of music. We also made puppets with a theatre company. This included a trip to Northampton Derngate Theatre to see each perform in turn. Our school is connected to the Internet. By Daniel Jones |
