Clubs for children after school

Our school day finishes at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. We then have some clubs for children who are aged 6 to 11. We have sports clubs (cricket, rugby and hockey and 5 football clubs), sewing club, engineering club, science club, music band and art club.

These children at the Engineering Club are making fairground rides.

Cricket is played in England during the summer. Students from the university teach us on the playground. We play matches against other primary schools

At these After School Clubs we try new things out and learn new skills. Some of the things we create make our school look really good.

The children at the art club made mozaics from old tiles. These were glued onto wooden boards and now hang on the outside wall at the front of the school.  The 5 boards look really good. People walking past enjoy looking at them.

Children also painted a mural on the outside wall of the nursery. In this picture they have just started painting the background. They went on to paint grass, plants, trees and insects, birds and animals.
