Our school minibus is a valuable asset to Laygate School. The football team use it for their away games and sometimes they pick up teams that need to play us at home. One of the main uses of the minibus is taking children on their education visits. We have been to local places of interest, such as, Arbeia Roman fort, Derwent Walk, Souter Lighthouse, the beach, local churches, mosques and Sheikh temples. The minibus is also used to transport children to their outdoor activities, such as, rock climbing, canoeing and problem solving.
Our minibus can be loaned by other schools/groups/people for a donation but it will be best to check our school policy governing the use of the school minibus.
