At Longside Primary, various after-school activities are offered to the pupils. The clubs currently running this term are:

Monday - Craft/Cross-Stitch

Tuesday - Athletics; Football

Wednesday - Badminton

Thursday - Netball

Friday - Basketball

At the end of the school year, the pupils who attend the clubs are invited to a Sports Party. They compete in various fun games and are then presented with a medal for participating in the clubs during the year. In addition, there are prizes for the Player of the Year in each sport and for the Most Improved Player in each sport. Below is a picture of the prize-winners for 1998-99.
