Harvest Festival is held in the Autumn Term in Lydiard Church. Gifts which the children bring are given to an organisation such as 'HOSTS' which provides meals for the homeless in Swindon.

Christmas activities vary but include Carol Services, Nativity Plays and Musical celebrations. Collections are made to support a children's charity each year.

Easter Services take place in the church as well as a leavers service held in the Summer term for Year 6 pupils and parents.

Sports Day which is held in the Summer Term, is extremely well supported by relatives, friends and villagers. Netball and football teams also represent the school during the season and some children in Years 3-6 are selected to take part in the Area Sports Day.

Quizzes and competitions, such as the Inter School Quiz, are also undertaken.
