As the school year is only about 190 "earning" days in total, I estimated that I need to charge:
between £320 and £360 + VAT for a full day (say 9:00 to 4:00 or 10:30 to 5:30) and
between £170 and £200 + VAT for a half-day session (say 9:00 to 12:00, 1:30 to 4:30, 2:30 to 5:30 or 6:00 to 9:00).
The exact amount will depend on the amount of preparation / follow-up required - for example, a whole-school INSET session or work on school ICT development plans would be at the upper end of the scale, while a request to install software would be at the lower end.
Charges are fully inclusive of travel, materials, etc.
If a school wanted to book several sessions, then the price would be correspondingly lower...
