Homework Policy
Home work is a vital part of the school work programme. Each child will be given set homework each week appropriate to their age and ability level. In Key Stage 2 all children will be given weekly tables and spelling targets. They will also be given an additional piece of Literacy and Numeracy work each week. Older children will be asked to develop a more long term project connected with topic work over a period of weeks.
In Key Stage 1, homework will mainly come from reading, spelling and number targets and will encourage parents and children to work and read together. A copy of the complete policy can be obtained from school.
