School Location

Malton has been the historic centre of Ryedale since Roman times. In fact there are three Maltons - Roman, Old and New - in three separate places. North of the Roman fort site at Orchard Fields, is the original town of Old Malton, in the centre of which stands a fragment of the only remaining Gilbertine Priory in use in England - St Mary's. The new Malton is now a traditional agricultural town, and holds a thrice-weekly cattle market.

The satellite image below was taken from an Earth orbiting satellite 226.5km above the Earth's surface. It shows a resolution of 1.5 metre square. Our school is the building in the centre of the image. (The satellite image was taken on 22nd May 1998)
