Although it is a long time until your child starts school in August this year you will already be thinking about the day when you will send your child off for their first day at school.

This is an exciting time for children and parents. We hope to be able to make their introduction to school as easy as possible for them and for the parents!

To help you 'prepare' for the big day we hold a number of workshops and activities designed to help parents and staff at the school prepare for the arrival of your child to Markethill School.

We hope that you will be able to come along and join us at these meetings where you will find out about what your child will be doing in their first days at school and what specific arrangements have been made regarding the phasing in of the pupils to school.

Below is a list of the arranged meetings and activities for the summer term and for the autumn term once your child has started school.
