Attendance is certainly improving. We have finally reached our 95% target, just! You will see on your child's report an attendance total. The top line indicates the total half days possible, which if your child has been here since last September should be 318. The second line down indicates your child's actual attendance. The final line tells you the amount of un authorise absences your child has had.

To check if your child has reached the 95% target divide your child's actual attendance by 318 and then times this figure by 100. If your child did not get a figure of above 95% then this must improve for next year.

Avoid these at all costs during term time, they have a major impact on your child's education. If you know you can’t, then organise the dates that will have the least effect on your child’s education. Use two weeks before or after a holiday to extend your visit
