Excel in Year 5

Year 5 have been using Microsoft Excel to carry out calculations and explore the effects of changing the data in a spreadsheet .

We found that by using cell references that it didn’t matter if we changed the data at a later time, Excel would still work out the problem for us!

 

Below is a spreadsheet to calculate costs of a two night camping trip for 6 children. 
Not all the children need to hire a sleeping bag, as two children have their own, and one child cannot swim so he will not need to pay the fee for the pool.

Please note prices will differ!
