This is an old photo of Green Lane. You can see Green Lane Cottage on the left hand side.

The old library and swimming baths on the corner of Green Lane and Little Green Lane was built by Martin and Chamberlain in 1893.

The building is now used as a Mosque.

The swimming baths were built at the rear of the Library and were opened on 29th October 1902. A well sunk 625 feet provided the baths water supply. The library and baths were closed on the 27th September 1977.
