About the school……..
Maryculter East is a typical example of a small rural Victorian school five miles south of Aberdeen.
Our current role is 16, catering for Primaries 2 - 7
There are two classrooms which, with imaginative use, provide space for a full curriculum. At the back of the school is a grassy area known as the "the pitch" which the children use at break times. It also
provides an ideal location for some of our Environmental Studies work and for part of the Physical Education curriculum.
Our location means that we are able to benefit not only from our country setting but also from our proximity to Aberdeen.
