A group of young women through their own personal experience have discovered a loophole in the law, in that an Interim Interdict protects "married " women more so than single women.

The group became established in January 1998, and during the last two years have gone from strength to strength, they have gained support for their campaign by lobbying Councillors, MSPs and MPs. On the 8^th of March 2000 they decided to take their Campaign to the heart of Scottish Politics and headed for the Scottish Parliament.
