Pupils following a GCSE course in Spanish visited Spain, which helped them gain valuable experience in learning a modern foreign language and will assist them with their coursework assignments.
In return over 20 pupils from Elgoibarko Ikastola school in Bilbao spent two weeks at Litherland High, sitting in on various lessons and mixing with fellow students.
While they were in Liverpool, the Spanish students visited several areas of local interest including the Museum and Albert Dock. The exchange visit is aimed at broadening the pupils’ experience abroad and raising their awareness of the European Community.
