Issue Three...

What's it all about?

Issue Three of Netherton Now, came out in November 1996 and was distributed to all 14,000 homes and businesses in the area. This issue was also eight pages in length, with colour front, back and centre pages.

A major feature of this edition was a report on a bid from Bootle High School to obtain a National Lottery grant to build a Sports Hall Complex on school grounds. The Sports Hall would be used by pupils from Bootle High during the day and be a community resource by night. Stay tuned to these pages for progress reports on the Lottery bid.
