Dressing to impress

Pupils and teachers dressed up as their favourite book character and at Litherland High there were appearances from Freddie Kruger from Nightmare on Elm Street, two dice from Jumangi, Men in Black, Captain Hook, Peter Pan and lots more.

The idea of the fancy dress was to encourage children to read more books. The event was very successful with a big turn-out and the organiser, Mrs Donnelly, was very pleased.
