JOB DESCRIPTION
NAME : Graham Baker
POSITION : Campus Supervisor
SUMMARY OF ROLE :
Responsibility in consultation with the Head Teacher
and/or senior staff for the total school campus and it's buildings
(internal and external), its maintenance and development, so that
it as a resource it most effectively supports the educational
needs of the school.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES :
- To work within the budget allocated to ensure
the provision and maintenance of all necessary resources.
- To oversee the quality and implementation of
the cleaning contract and liaise with contractor as necessary.
- To ensure that those areas not covered by the
contract are cleaned to the required specification.
- To carry out porterage and maintenance tasks
and liaising with contractors, as is necessary, on such matters.
- To be aware of appropriate Health and Safety
regulations and to maintain, in consultation with the Head Teacher
and/or senior staff, the campus and building in accordance with
these and the agreed aims of the school.
- To oversee and where necessary carry out grounds
maintenance tasks.
- To maintain an oversight of energy maintenance
throughout the school.
- To be responsible for the security of the building
and campus.
- To maintain effective public relations through

Responsibility for all school lettings.
Ensuring good relations with pupils, staff, emergency
services, visitors, L.E.A. officers, vendors and contractors.
Visitor control during sports events, meetings, seminars
etc. held in school.
- To support the Head Teacher and/or senior staff
in the preparation of an annual maintenance and development plan
for the campus and its buildings in order that governors can give
consideration for investment purposes.
