Further Developments

The following objectives for further developments to reporting arrangements were established:

1. To make the reports be still more parent 'friendly' in style and language, and feel more directly personal to the child.

2. To continue to benefit from the reduced demand on administrative staff.

3. To endeavour to reduce the still considerable demand on teaching staff time and energy in order to minimise the adverse effect on their teaching.

4. To link new developments more closely to the revised National curriculum arrangements, if the timescale made this possible.
