In line with current Government regulations Bilbrook Middle School has this year, to publish targets for the year 2000 Key Stage 2 SAT passes at level 4 and above in English and Mathematics.
In order to determine these figures as accurately as possible, the staff have issued targets for individual pupils in English, Mathematics and Science based on the teacher assessments already undertaken. In addition a target for attendance has been given to all the pupils. All of these targets have been issued to parents and discussed with them at a parents interview evening.
We feel that together the children, parents and school can ensure that each individual can be given the opportunity to achieve their potential and so the school can meet its own target.
To help to do this, parents have been issued with "Help Sheets" which have been devised by the staff so that parents can help at home.
