The National Association for
Gifted Children

Counselling Service.

The counsellors are carefully selected and professionally trained. They receive continuing support and supervision and have access to a range of specialised consultants.
The Service abides by the British Association for Counselling's Code of Ethics and NAGC's own B.A.C. approved Code of Practice.

However complex or trivial your situation seems to be, a counsellor will give you time, understanding and complete confidentiality.

The counsellor will share your problems or concerns with you and will help you to explore the nature of your difficulties. You will be encouraged and assisted to make your own decisions about dealing with them.

Counselling is offered by telephone or by meeting face-to-face.

The counsellors give their time voluntarily; they are professionally trained and supervised. This is costly. We are grateful for all donations towards the cost of running this service. They should be given to your counsellor or sent directly to Head Office marked "For the Counselling Service".

Complaints about the Service, however small, will be taken seriously, and should be addressed to the Counselling Manager at Head Office.
