Young Artists on Show at Plinston Hall |
Thanks to generous sponsorshop from The Heritage Foundation,
the Garden Gallery at Plinston Hall was made available for three weeks
spanning September and October to display the work of A-level students.
All five secondary schools took part. |

All Year 12 students from Letchworth Schools took part in three half
day conferences early in December. They looked at some of the issues involved
with genetic screening.
The conference was devised by John Asker a biologist rom Norton School, Rev Brian Anderson, Methodist Superintendent and Ann Crook of LCET. The group work for these conferences was lead by former teachers and staff from North Herts District Council and the Heritage Foundation who generously sponsored these events. |

Chris Chapman a former Highfield pupil who is currently living in a Cheshire Home has been provided with a computer system to connect him to internet. A private sponsor was found by LCET to enable this to happen. Bob Wardale, who manages the LEN project, is giving technical support. |
