For a number of years the school has been running a very successful Governor's Fund which has helped to raise much needed money to improve the quality of provisions for students. It is absolutely vital that all parents contribute to this governors fund to help to meet the new levy which is imposed by the Diocese. This levy is to enable the Diocesan Trustees to pay the 15% of all maintenance and building costs which arise due to our Voluntary(aided) status.

This minimum donation is less than 50p per week so most parents should be able to contribute. Any contribution above this minimum will allow for extra improvements.

The best way to give to the Governors' Fund is through tax efficient giving. This means the Government will pay back to the school any income tax paid when the money was earned. This is done by making a Gift Aid Declaration

• This means that every £1 donated is worth £1.28 to the school
• A donation of £48 per year (£4 a month) will give an extra £13.53 which will pay for the Diocesan Levy.
• You decide the amount you wish to give and whether you wish to make donations, monthly, quarterly, termly or yearly
• You can make the donation by completing the Bank Standing Order form attatched to your Gift Aid Declaration or by sending a regular donation to the school (reminders will be sent).
• You can cancel your Gift Aid Declaration at any time by notifying the school and cancelling your standing order.
