The Curriculum in year 9 is designed to provide a wide range of educational experiences. All subject areas group students by ability in year 9.
There will be an opportunity for able students in French to study Spanish in year 9, but those students studying Spanish will not be able to study Drama and will have 3 periods of French a week rather than 4.
The overall range of subjects offered in Year 9 remain essentially as shown below. All students will study.
