Parklands Junior School is situated North East of London. It is the largest junior school in the London Borough of Havering, with over 450 children on roll.

Nature.pcx (1142485 bytes)We are lucky enough to have a large site, shared with the infants school, and the children have access to grounds including playgrounds and hard sports surfaces, playing fields, pitches, a nature area (right), flower garden and allotment.. Our school is built around a quad where we keep animals such as goats, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs and a duck. We also have a school cat called Sally. Here are Rough and  Tumble, our pygmy goats.Goats.jpg (40435 bytes)

The flower garden is a memorial planted in honour of John Hughes, a former headteacher of the school. The children help to maintain the flower beds and the allotment.

Inside the school there are classrooms, a library and ICT information area, resources areas, a music and drama studio and additional teaching areas for small groups.

We are proud of our achievements. To find out more click here.
