1998 Technology Challenge

On January 30th 1998 6 children in our class went to a DT Challenge.

We were given the task of making a water wheel. The materials we used were the things they gave us and we weren't allowed to use much else. It was good fun deciding how we were going to make it.

At lunchtime we had a lovely lunch that was all prepared for us. There were lots of judges walking from table to table judging us on how secure it is, how well it works, and lots of other things.

At the end we had to attach our water wheel to the model house made specially.

 

trying it for real Our water wheel did go round but we didn't win.

St Andrew's won the trophy.
