In June 1997 40 members of Year 6 stayed at Maison de la Varenne near Dieppe, from Friday to Monday. They were accompanied by their class teachers Louise Holyoake and Nigel Ford, their teacher of French Donna Steains, David Betteridge and Mary Pavior. They were joined by 7 children from Alfriston Primary, their teacher Anne Cawley, and her husband Trevor.
They visited Dieppe market, the chateau at Arques-la-Bataille, Paris, and a cheese making farm near Neufchatel-en-Bray. These photos were taken by Mr Ford and Miss Steains.
