Looking along the lines of the Bind Rune you can also see the associations with specific craft areas. The first is the As – Yr line, this is the most obvious being woodwork. This line would normally be associated with the Jarl class.
The Kreft – Laug line can cover a number of different craft areas for example pottery, metalwork, cooking. These are all crafts that rely on water and fire, pottery needs the water to make the clay workable and then the fire to fire the item. This line would normally be associated with the Karl class.
The final line, the Bjork – Ur line again covers a number of craft areas for example shields and clothing. The general idea on this line could be refereed to as needlework but from a specific aspect, the protection aspect. This line would normally be associated with the Herse class.
The class associations on each of the parings is only a guideline and does not imply a definite relationship. In general terms all craft aspects are Karl by assoication, however this is only in the sense that they are the ones that will use craft to earn a living.
