Highlights of the year

2000 - 2001

Our annual visit from the wonderful Martin the Puppetman transfixed the children, as he always does.

The annual FunRun was held on a glorious autumn day. The children ran laps of an obstacle course and received certificates on completion of the course. The sponsorship money raised was used to upgrade the outside environment of the school.

The children had a close encounter with 4 different species of Owl and were given an insight into how they lived.

Harvest Festival. We sang harvest songs to the parents and then went and delivered harvest fayre to the old flks of Corbin Court and sang them our songs too.

The Fire Engine came to school for Fire Awareness Day. The children got a chance to sit in the drivers seat, use the hose and learn how to keep themselves safe.
