Every two years we hold a May Fair. It is a
wonderful afternoon for everyone and also raises a large amont of money
for projects within school. This year Mrs Butcher and Mrs Luke worked very
hard to oragnise the event. The weather was kind and lots of people came
along to enjoy the fair. There were many sideshows, games and attractions.
The local Fire Service brought their fire engine along, which proved a
great hit with the children. There was also a grand draw with over fifty
prizes. |

The fair was extremely succesful and raised over £1200. This
money was used to purchase a new multimedia PC for the use of the children
in reception. |

The annual 'Fun Run' took place on a dull but
dry Friday afternoon. The children ran 5, 6 or 7 laps (depending upon their
age) of an obstacle course on the school playground. Parents were
invited along to watch and to have tea and biscuits. Each lap was sponsored
and it was hoped that somewhere in the region of £400 would be raised.
This money will go towards replenishing the safety surface of the adventure
playground. |
