The school governors are involved in all aspects of school life.  Individual governors work as response partners with staff curriculum managers and each governor takes it in turn to be 'Governor of the Month'.
Committees are formed to deal with school matters such as finance, pay and conditions, buildings and environment, staffing, school policy, health and safety etc..  Each committee has delegated powers and reports to the full governing body.
The governing body delegates the day to day management of the school to the Headteacher.
