Tongue Twisters from Year One

As a part of our literacy hour work we have been looking at words that start with the same phoneme. We made a long list of words on the board. We then picked words from the list and made them into a tongue twister.

We looked at words starting with 'b' and made up this tongue twister

Bethany balanced her beautiful birthday Barbie on a broken brown and blue bath.

We looked at words starting with 'p' and made up this tongue twister
Paul sat in a pink and purple paddling pool painting a pizza with a plastic pen.

Can you pick a letter from the alphabet. Make a list of words starting with that letter and see whether you can make up your own tongue twister.
