Year Two Children working, Autumn term.

	A small group doing some literacy hour work at the computer workstation in the Year Two base. In that area they have 5 computers, one of which has access to our protected internet service.
	Numeracy Hour - a group try to produce a 3 colour pattern of beads. They have 3 minutes to make their pattern and are working against a sand timer. Their patterns are then recorded on paper.
	Numeracy Hour - A group of children programming a 'roamer'. The Roamer is a robot which can be programmed with commands which tell it how far to travel, when and how far to turn. It can therefore be made to follow a path, or make its way to a target point. The children modify the instructions to make roamer follow the desired path exactly.
