Christmas 2000
Christmas lunch was great fun. All of the children dressed up in their Christmas hats, which they had made in the previous week. A turkey dinner was served by the Teachers and Learning Support Assistants, to the sound of christmas songs. Mrs O'Grady helps the kitchen staff to serve Turkey and all the trimmings to the children. Our Christmas Celebration this year was a musical retelling of the Nativity story.
There were three performances: one for the children from the playgroup and the Junior School and two performances for parents and friends.
The animals are transfixed by a passing host of Angels. In a small departure from the Bible version of the story - FOUR Kings bring presents for the baby Jesus (contrary to rumours around the school, the fourth present was not a sandwich toaster).
