A great improvement on the TR2 with its distinctive
grill. The engine power was up to 100 bhp with an improved head and disc
brakes were fitted as standard (The first British production car). The
TR3A had a wider grill and the doors had exterior handles. The later production
cars had a 2138 cc engine. The 3A was the most prolific of the 4 cylinder
TRs though most were built for the export market.
