On the 17th April 2008 ,15 pupils from Portfield travelled to Cardiff for the 2008 Rotary Gymnastics Championships at ‘The Welsh Institute of Sport in Sophia Gardens.The team were highly successful winning trophies for 1st place ‘floor’ in the senior section, 1st place ‘ball’in chair rhythmics 2nd place ‘hoop’ in the chair rhythmics as well as 3rd place ‘ball’ in the junior chair rhythmics.A fantastic achievement- Congratulations to the whole team of students and staff.
