This huge octagonal fruit cake, which was eaten on the school's 400th birthday - June 29th, was 1 metre across and was entirely edible, although the sugar and chocolate (much enlarged) replica of Queen Elizabeth I's seal is going to be kept. It was made by the school's catering department, and was cut at the "roadshow" on Tuesday afternoon by QEHS Headteacher Tony Webster.
