QE400 Roadshow

The whole school had the afternoon off on Tuesday 29th June to celebrate the 400th Birthday of the school. Everyone went up to the rugby fields where there was a Metro FM Roadshow. Members of staff, and students, demonstrated their "talent" on the stage, singing along to various songs.

Hundreds of helium-balloons were released in a competition to see who's could get the furthest to win a video recorder. Fortunately they did not distract the RAF Tornado pilots who did a Fly-By especially.

The famous cake was cut by Headteacher Tony Webster (who managed to stay off the talent stage all afternoon), and everyone had a slice.

As soon as photo's of the afternoon are available they will be up here - so keep an eye on the page.
