Do Belgian music groups get to the international level?

Of course, but they are not as famous as 'Oasis' and 'Blur'. Who knows what it 'll be in the next generation? We are on the way to the top. Let's first have a look at them now:

dEUS

•members : Tom Barman vocals, guitar

Julle de Borgher drums

Stef Kamil Carlens bass, vocals

Klaas Janzoons violin, keyboards

Danny Mommens bass

Rudy Trouve guitar

Craig Ward guitar

•CD 's : Zea Worst case scenario My Sister = My Clock In a Bar,

Under the Sea

•songs : Suds & Soda, Via, Hotel Lounge, Little Arethmatics, Roses

•tours : They toured in Portugal, Spain, Italy, Austria, Chechie, Germany, Israel, The Netherlands, UK, Denmark, Belgium, Switserland, Ireland, Scotland and Sweden. They also performed in Dour, Torhout/Werchter, Pukkelpop, Pingpop, Reading, Lowlands.

dEUS is the most famous band in Belgium. They have already been on tour with Radiohead in America and with Pavement in England. They also made some clips for Tricky. Now they are on tour with Blur d Morthine, but the new Craig Ward replaces Rudy Trouve and Danny Mommens replaces Klaas Janzoons.

K's Choice

•members : Sarah Bettens vocals , guitars + instrument

Gert Bettens vocals, guitars

Jan van Sichem Jr. guitars

Bart van der Zeeuw drums

•source : The Band first appeared as 'The Choice', but later they changed their name to 'K's Choice'. The 'K' stands for Jozef K, a character out of Franz Kafka's book 'The Trial'. An ironic joke: Jozef K was, as a victim of the political system, not able to make his own choices, while Sarah and Bert are.

•CD 's : The Great Subconscious Club (1993 - The Choice) Paradise in Me

•songs : Not an Addict

Mr. Freeze

•tours : They toured in The Netherlands, Belgium, USA, France and Germany.

K's Choice sells heaps of CD 's in Europe and Australia and they are close to conquering America. No Belgian Rockband has ever been closer to the top of the world. Even the guitarist of 'Rage again the Machine' is very enthusiastic about them. Right now they are on tour with Alanis Morissette.

Channel Zero

•members : Franky D.S.V.D. vocals + instrument

Xavier Carion guitar

Phil B. drums

Tino DeMartino bass

•CD 's : Unsafe

Black fuel
