Radley College Land Survey (GIS)
The GIS map of Radley land-use below was created using AEGIS2
software
- a vector base map of fields & roads was plotted by
students using AEGIS editor
- students then visited each field and recorded land-use
- they also interviewed the local farmer
- land-use survey results were entered as codes onto an Excel
spreadsheet
- data was linked to seeds on the vector map
- the final map was generated automatically by AEGIS
