MetLink Project Information

The project links schools (see maps) to study weather and exchange data.

Aims

use the Internet to enhance weather studies
record weather data
enter daily recording into the MetLink Database and exchange with other schools
provide email links to Weather Contacts
develop weather projects, plot graphs and compare results with other schools
students to write articles about weather events

MetLink Programme 2000

1. School Contact Phase (17-28 Jan, 2000)
Schools establish email contact and exchange brief messages

2. Weather Active Phase (31 Jan to 11 Feb, 2000)
Daily weather recordings, entry into database and email links
Email Weather Contacts to answer particular weather questions

3. Weather Project Phase (14 Feb to 10 Mar, 2000)
Students present data, graphs, maps, weather projects, articles and exchange with other schools.
