1. Where is it hottest? Suggest reasons. See Metlink database temperature recordings for Addis Abbaba or Muscat.
2. What season is it in Southern Africa?
3. What type of clouds may be forming during the day over Zambia and Zimbabwe? Explain why such clouds often form in tropical regions. Check the Metlink database for Peterhouse, Banani or Bulawayo.
4. What weather system is forming in the SW Atlantic. What weather conditions are usually associated with such systems? What direction is it likely to move?
5. What air mass is affecting Europe? What are the likely associated weather conditions? Check the Metlink database eg Gabriel Pereira or Pennar to see if you are correct.
6. Produce a weather forecast for Two Boats school on Ascension Island for the next 24 hours. Give reasons.
